Prayer

'We seek to be rooted in prayer...'

Prayer is primarily about a relationship - our relationship with God.  When we pray we spend time with God, growing and sustaining that relationship.  Prayer is an important part in our church life.

Prayer Chain

imageA key part of our church's prayer life is our prayer chain.  The prayer chain is made up of a group of people who commit to pray for those people whose prayer requests are circulated along the chain.  All prayer requests are treated with the utmost confidentiality.

If you have a prayer request that you would like to be prayed for by our prayer chain, please .

If you would like to join the prayer chain, please do .  Please note that all prayer chain members are required to sign our Prayer Chain Agreement before becoming part of our Prayer Chain.

Burnham Abbey

imageWe are only a few miles away from the contemplative Augustinian Community of Burnham Abbey in Lake End Road, Taplow.  We benefit from a close relationship with them, having several Quiet Mornings there each year. Church members sometimes join the Community for their daily 9.30am Eucharist, and our Vicar presides there once a month.

Prayer Days

Occasionally we hold special Prayer Events, often sharing these with All Saints, Boyne Hill and St Luke’s, Maidenhead.

We have held 3 special Prayer Days over recent years – each with a keynote speaker and a variety of workshops on prayer and different ways of praying.

Please watch this space for details of our next Prayer Event.

Week of Accompanied Prayer

We are planning a Week of Accompanied Prayer when Covid allows. To find our more details, read this article from our Vicar.

If you are interested in taking part, please do  - spaces are limited.
