Steve Rouse will be with us from LICC (London Institute for Contemporary Christianity) helping us to explore where God is at work in our everyday lives and how we can join in with all he’s doing there.

Often the only thing we think God wants us to do in our everyday lives is evangelise, and for many of us we would prefer a trip to the dentist over doing that.  Steve will help us see that our workplaces, schools, neighbourhoods and clubs are places where God wants to make a difference through us in a whole host of ways, and to discover that the very work we do in those places intrinsically matters to God.

Steve Rouse:

Steve spends much of his time with churches, church leaders and church networks in and around the London area who are keen to focus their faith communities on whole-life discipleship.  Steve spent the first ten years of his working life in the Building Trade, working as a Bricklayer.
At the age of twenty-seven he followed God’s new call into Church Ministry and has spent the last twenty years involved with Balham Baptist Church.  Steve is married to Leisa and they have two children, Brianna who is studying Press & Editorial Photography at Falmouth University, and Jackson who is finishing his A Levels before taking a gap year to pursue his love of music.  Steve enjoys playing squash, restoring furniture and riding his motorbike.
