From: Catherine - A.C.T.S <actsmsa@africaonline.co.ke> Dear Rob & Kath,
Trust you are keeping. ACTS is vibrant with work and the big wheel of the charity is propelling very well. Rains have sub-sided a bit but on and off but so far so good – we are safe and grateful to God.
The ACTS School Support Committee met and allocated the church of good shepherd generous funds - £ 623 - to purchase books for Mwamba Primary School students. This is a small private school in our target area, that most ACTS sponsored primary students are enrolled. It was agreed that purchasing the five core subjects books for each student in a class of forty shall go a long way in improving their academic performance hence overall excellence in national examinations that are crucial for students to pass in order to join secondary level of education. The books were give from class 1 – 8 and each class has an average of 40 pupils. I do attach herewith a presentation that depict pictures taken on the day, with Liz Chater (ACTS Trustee) doing the presentation to the students and staff of the school. I am hopeful that the members of the church will be happy to see the tremendous crucial role their support go in pushing ACTS agenda of funding education for the needy.
With many thanks and be blessed abundantly.
